2.5 Day Hands-On Firefighting Camp For Females Ages 16+

Our curriculum is built to be safe, structured, NFPA 1403–aligned, and empowering — giving participants the chance to discover strengths they didn’t know they had, backed by an entire crew of women believing in them.

What Camp Fierce meant to me was honestly monumental. Even though I wasn’t a camper, being part of it felt really special. Watching the girls go from timid and shy to bold and confident gave me such a sense of pride. Knowing I played even a small part in helping them reach that version of themselves, it meant everything.
My favorite memory from Camp Fierce was definitely the social aspect. Getting to connect with everyone and, even as a junior team leader, learning right alongside the campers. It reminded me that leadership isn’t about knowing everything; it’s about growing together.

For many of us, it’s not just about learning firefighting skills. It’s about proving to ourselves that we belong in the fire service. Camp Fierce inspires women to push past fear, trust their strength, and carry that confidence back into their departments and communities.

Stay Fierce, This camp is an eye opener and a tone setter. For young women who are interested in the fire service, the camp gives them the ability to get firsthand understanding, but also to discuss issues, concerns, general questions with women who have done it before--having a safe space to ask technical questions about masks and gloves but to also ask about pay and benefits is something that is impactful to long term viability that often isn't available in any field.

Camp Fierce will forever stand out in my life they gave me my first and best experience with hands on experience and the best volunteers and girls out there they were all so incredibly supportive and made sure to help push you through things you never thought you could do i watch it happen myself i watch people overcome heights and claustrophobia with the help of the amazing firefighters they had there i will love and miss camp greatly
It also brought out something in me. Seeing all these badass women doing badass things made me feel like a little girl again, living out her dreams and realizing, if they can do it, I can too. Camp Fierce set a new standard for me to stay open-minded, to take on challenges even when they’re intimidating, and to never stop growing.

Being brand new to the fire service, I was scared that I wouldn’t be very useful to Camp Fierce but no one made me feel dumb and I felt very supported and encouraged! I know I will have more experience and knowledge next year and I plan on bringing that with me to Camp Fierce 2026! I loved meeting all of the girls and volunteers and watching everyone get close and grow so much just in the 2.5 days! Unforgettable experience that I’m excited and on fire😉 for next year!

Camp Fierce is an invaluable resource for women to be introduced to the firefighting field in a space that is welcoming and safe. Exposure to this can mean a life changing transformation for a field that can benefit immensely from more women being firefighters.
